A Big Thank You from Keith Bonchek, Founder and CEO of Ability Together

As 2025 winds down, I find myself looking back with a big smile, and maybe a little awe, at everything we’ve accomplished together. What a year it has been. If I had confetti, it would be flying everywhere right now.

When we started this journey, we dreamed of creating a community where inclusion is not an afterthought but a way of life. This year, that dream took another big step forward. We trained more than 250 people both in person and online. That’s 250 more voices out there championing accessibility, awareness, and understanding. Each one of them represents a ripple that spreads far beyond what we can see.

I was honored to speak on a national disability panel, sharing insights and stories that remind us all how powerful inclusion can be when we truly listen and learn from one another. We also launched a consulting project right here in California to expand access for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. That work speaks directly to our hearts and our ears, quite literally.

And then came one of the highlights of the year: our brand-new website, abilitytogether.org. It feels like a reflection of who we are: open, accessible, and full of heart. As you explore it, you might come across something that makes you think, smile, or even share it with someone who needs to see it. That’s how our message grows: through people like you who care enough to pass it on.

As I look ahead to 2026, I feel grateful for every person who has walked with us this year. You are the reason Ability Together continues to thrive. You remind us that progress happens one conversation, one connection, and one act of kindness at a time.

Thank you for being part of this amazing community. Here’s to an even more inspiring, impactful, and inclusive year ahead. When we work together, we really are ALL better together.

With gratitude and good cheer,

Keith Bonchek
