Keith Bonchek

Keith Bonchek never expected to become a public speaker. Living with multiple medical conditions, including a learning disability, he faced significant challenges in education. Defying medical advice, Mr. Bonchek graduated from high school, attended college and trade school, and became a licensed landscape contractor and designer. For over 17 years, he owned a landscape design and construction business, employing dozens of people. It was while speaking to nursing students that Mr. Bonchek found his passion for advocacy. He knew that his new calling in life was to share his insights into the unique communication needs of people with disabilities.

Mr. Bonchek founded Ability Together, Inc., continuing his mission to bridge the gap between disabled and able-bodied communities. As a speaker, he has trained religious leaders to foster inclusivity and presented at numerous organizations and events. He has also held leadership roles, including serving on advisory boards for disability advocacy programs and initiatives.

Mr. Bonchek has served as the Southern California Outreach Coordinator for People First of California, acted as Vice Chairman of the Deaf & Disabled Telecommunication Program for over 6 years, completed the Emerging Leaders Program with Disability Voices United, and is currently serving on the Ability Central Advisory Board.
