Tammi Bradley

Tammi Bradley is a mother of two adult children, a proud “Gram-Gram” to a sweet grandson, and a person living with a complex disability. She experienced educational segregation into the 1970s and lived through the transition out of it, a change that demanded courage. Known as the only person with a disability in her entire school, she had opportunities to pioneer a path for future generations. Over time, she has built a rich, full life shaped by faith, perseverance, and 40 plus years of independent living experience.

Tammi is a retired California state government employee, an aspiring writer, and a business owner providing Independent Facilitation to fellow individuals living with developmental disabilities. Her perspective is rooted in lived experience and systems navigation, and in the belief that people deserve the freedom to live, love, laugh, and work in ways that feel true to who they are. She believes a life cannot be reduced to a single word, and that understanding begins when we listen, learn, and stay curious about who people truly are.

When she is not working or writing, Tammi loves all things French and hopes to visit Paris one day. She especially loves old provincial furniture because the curves, imperfections, and age tell a story.
